About This Journal
Mansoura Medical Journal (MMJ) allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional/subject-based repository.
Journal History
Mansoura Medical Journal has been established since 1970, in 1988 it was registered with the World Health Organization (WHO). In 2020, it was converted into an electronic journal through the Egyptian knowledge Bank (EKB) and published electronically and in a paper format. In December 2022, Mansoura Medical Journal has migrated from EKB to the Digital Common (DC) system by Elsevier.
Publishing Schedule
The journal is quarterly published with 4 issues per year and 1 volume per year. Issues are predominantly published in March, June, September, and December.

The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright, and to retain publishing rights without any restrictions.

The journal is an Open Access journal. Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles under the following conditions: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Archiving
MMJ is preserved in CLOCKSS and Portico, the two leading preservation archives that guarantee persistent access for the very long term. Articles also receive Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) from the CrossRef organization to ensure they can always be found.
